Poems

Not all who wear the name of Christ are rooted in Him. Jesus warned of wolves in sheep’s clothing and fruitless trees destined for the fire. This poem is a call to discernment—not by denominations, buildings, labels, or outward show, but by the fruit that reveals the heart.

You Shall Know Them By Their Fruits

You shall know them by their fruits,
Not their denominations!
For membership in their churches
Guarantees no-one salvation!

You shall know them by their fruits,
Not by their “Christian” brand.
Plenty take that name in vain;
Their foundation built on sand!

You shall know them by their fruits,
Not their performing “pastors”
Spirit-dead NOT Spirit led,
Barren, blind disasters!

You shall know them by their fruits
Not the deedless words they choose.
For talk is cheap and so is grace
Where mercy is refused!

You shall know them by their fruits;
For hypocrites cannot bear
Spiritual fruit of ANY kind.
No fruit – then friend beware!
