| 2. καθωϲ γεγραπται εν τω ηϲαϊα τω προφητη ϊδου εγω αποϲτελω τον αγγελον μου προ προϲωπου ϲου οϲ καταϲκευαϲει την οδον ϲου | 2. Just as it is written in Yesha'yahu (meaning Y--H saves) the prophet: 'Look! I send-forth my messenger before your face, who will prepare-thoroughly your way. [Yesha'yahu = Isaiah] |

| 7. και εκηρυϲϲεν λεγων ερχεται ο ϊϲχυροτεροϲ μου οπιϲω μου ου ουκ ειμι ικανοϲ κυψαϲ λυϲαι τον ϊμαντα των ϋποδηματων αυτου | 7. And he was proclaiming, saying: 'The [one] mightier than me comes after me, of whom I am not adequate, having bent down, to loose the strap of his sandals. |

| 10. και ευθυϲ αναβενων εκ του ϋδατοϲ ειδεν ϲχιζομενουϲ τουϲ ουνουϲ και το πνα ωϲ περιϲτεραν καταβαινον και μενον επ αυτον | 10. And immediately rising-up out-of the water, he (Yeshua) saw the heavens (skies) being-split-open and the god-breath as [a] dove coming-down and remaining upon him. |
| 11. και φωνη εκ τω ουνων ϲυ ει ο υϲ μου ο αγαπητοϲ εν ϲοι ευδοκηϲα· | 11. And [a] voice [happened] out of the heavens (skies): 'You are my son, the beloved; in you [I] thought-well / was-well-pleased.' |

And passing-along beside the sea of the Galil, he saw Shimon (meaning one who hears) and Andreas (meaning manly) the brother of Shimon, casting-[nets]-around the sea; for [they] were fishermen. | 22. και εξεπληϲϲοντο επι τη διδαχη αυτου ην γαρ διδαϲκων αυτουϲ ωϲ εξουϲιαν εχω και ουχ ωϲ οι γραμιδηματειϲ: | 22. And they were struck-out [of themselves] (amazed) at his teaching, for he was teaching them as [one] having authority and not as the writer-scholars. |

| 24. λεγω τι ημιν και ϲοι ιυ ναζαρηνε ηλθεϲ απολεϲε ημαϲ οιδαμεν ϲε τιϲ ει ο αγιοϲ του θυ | 24. Saying, 'What [is there between] us and you, Yeshua Nazoraios? You came to completely destroy us! [We] know you, who you-are: the hallowed [one] of God!' |
| 25. και επετιμηϲεν αυτω ο ιϲ φιμωθητι κ(αι) εξελθε εξ αυτου | 25. And Yeshua commanded him sternly, 'Be silenced, and go out of him!' |

And they were all astounded, so-as to discuss [among] themselves, saying, 'What is this? A new teaching according to authority: that even the unclean breath-spirits he commands, and they obey him!' |

| 29. και ευθυϲ εκ τηϲ ϲυναγωγηϲ εξελθοντεϲ ηλθο ειϲ την οικιαν ϲιμωνοϲ και ανδρεου μετα ϊακωβου και ϊωαννου | 29. And immediately, going-out out of the gathering-together (synagogue), they came into the house of Shimon and Andreas with Ya'aqov and Yochanan. |

| 34. και δαιμονια πολλα εξεβαλλεν και ουκ ηφιε λαλιν τα δαιμονια οτι ηδιϲαν αυτον | 34. And he cast out many lesser daemons, and did not release the lesser daemons to speak, because they had-known [were previously aware of] him. |
| 35. και πρωϊ εννυχα λειαν αναϲταϲ ε218ξηλθεν και απηλθεν ειϲ ερημον τοπον κακι προϲηϋχετο | 35. And very early in the morning, [while still] night, having arisen, he went out and went away into a desolate place, and there was praying. |
| 36. και κατεδιωξεν αυτον ϲιμω και οι μετ αυτου | 36. And Shimon and the [ones] with him hunted-him-down / pursued him. |
| 37. και ευρον αυτον και λεγουϲιν αυτω οτι παντεϲ ζητουϲιν ϲε | 37. And they found him and say to him, 'Everyone is seeking you!' |
| 38. και λεγει αυτοιϲ αγομεν αλλαχου ειϲ ταϲ εχομεναϲ κωμοπολιϲ ϊνα κακει κηρυξω ειϲ τουτο γαρ εξηλθο | 38. And he says to them, 'Let us lead elsewhere into the neighboring village-towns, in order that I might proclaim there also; for into this I went out.' |

| 40. και ερχεται προϲ αυτον λεπροϲ παρακαλων αυτον και γονυπετων λεγων αυτω οτι εαν θεληϲ δυναϲε με καθαριϲαι | 40. And a leper (skin-diseased-one) comes to him, begging urgently and falling on his knees, saying to him, 'If you might will, you are able to cleanse me.' |
| 41. και ϲπλαγχνιϲθειϲ εκτιναϲ την χειρα αυτου ηψατο κ(αι) λεγει θελω καθαριϲθητι | 41. And moved with deep-compassion, having-stretched-out his hand, he touched [him] and says, 'I will [it], be-made-clean.' |
| 42. και ευθυϲ απηλθεν απ αυτου η λεπρα και εκαθαριϲθη | 42. And immediately the leprosy went away from him, and he was made-clean. |
| 43. και εμβριμηϲαμενοϲ αυτω ευθυϲ εξεβαλε αυτον | 43. And having snorted (expressed indignation) at him, immediately he cast him out. |

And he says to him, 'See [that] you speak [to] no one; but withdraw, show yourself to the priest and offer concerning your cleansing what Mosheh [Moses] commanded, for a testimony to them.' |

But the [one] having-gone-out began to proclaim much and to broadcast the word, so as him [Yeshua] to be able no-longer to go-into a city openly, but he was outside upon desolate places; and they were coming to him from everywhere. |

| 1. και ειϲελθων παλι ειϲ καφαρναουμ δι ημερων ηκουϲθη οτι εν οικω εϲτιν | 1. And having gone into Kephar-Nachum [Capernaum] again after [some] days, it was heard that he is in [the] house. |
| 2. και ϲυνηχθηϲαν πολλοι ωϲτε μηκετι χωριν μηδε τα προϲ την θυραν και ελαλει αυτοιϲ τον λογον | 2. And many were gathered together, so as no longer to have space, not even the [area] around the door, and he was speaking the word to them. |
| 3. και ερχονται φεροτεϲ προϲ αυτον παραλυτικον αιρομενον ϋπο· δ· | 3. And they come bearing toward him [a] paralyzed-person being lifted by four. |
| 4. και μη δυναμενοι προϲενεγκαι αυτω δια τον οχλον απεϲτεγαϲαν την ϲτεγην οπου ην και εξορυξαντεϲ χαλωϲι τον κραβακτο οπου ο παραλυτικοϲ κατεκειτο | 4. And not being able to bring [him] to him because of the crowd, they un-roofed the roof where he was, and having dug [it] out, they lower the sleeping-mat where the paralyzed-person was lying-down. |

| 7. τι ουτοϲ ουτωϲ λαλει βλαϲφημει τιϲ δυναται αφιεναι αμαρτιαϲ ει μη ειϲ ο θϲ | 7. 'Why does this [one] speak thus? He speaks harm against (blasphemes). Who is able to send-away / release mistakes except one, God?' |
| 8. και ευθυϲ ο ιϲ επιγνουϲ τω πνι αυτου οτι ουτωϲ διαλογιζονται εν εαυτοιϲ λεγει αυτοιϲ τι ταυτα διαλογιζεϲθε εν ταιϲ καρδιεϲ υμων | 8. And immediately Yeshua, having-recognized in his breath-spirit that they reason thus within themselves, says to them, 'Why do you reason these things in your hearts? |

And having-heard, Yeshua says to them, 'The [ones] being strong have no need of [a] healer, but the [ones] being-badly-afflicted; I did not come to call just [ones], but mistake-makers.' |

| 19. και ειπεν αυτοιϲ ο ιϲ μη δυνανται οι ϋϊοι του νυμφωνοϲ εν ω ο νυμφικαταοϲ μετ αυτων εϲτιν νηϲτευειν οϲον χρονον εχουϲι τον νυμφιον μετ αυτων ου δυνανται νηϲτευει | 19. And Yeshua said to them, 'Are the sons of the bride-chamber able to fast while the bridegroom is with them? As much time [as] they have the bridegroom with them, they are not able to fast. |
| 20. ελευϲονται δε ημεραι οταν απαρθη απ αυτων ο νυμφιοϲ και τοτε νηϲτευϲουϲιν εν εκεινη τη ημερα | 20. But days will come whenever the bridegroom might be lifted-away from them, and then they will fast in that day. |
| 21. ουδιϲ επιβλημα ρακουϲ αγναφου επιραπτι επι ϊματιον παλαιον ει δε μη· αιρει πληρωμα απ αυτου το καινον του παλαιου και χειρον ϲχιϲμα γεινεται | 21. No one sews-on [a] patch-on of unshrunk cloth upon [an] old garment; otherwise the new fullness lifts away from the old, and [a] worse tear comes to be. |
| 22. και ουδειϲ βαλλει οινον νεον ειϲ αϲκουϲ παλαιουϲ· ει δε μη ρηξει ο οινοϲ τουϲ αϲκουϲ και ο οινοϲ εκχειται και οι αϲκοι απολουνται· αλλα οινον νεον ειϲ αϲκουϲ καινουϲ | 22. And no one puts new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the wineskins, and the wine pours-out and the wineskins will be ruined; but new wine [is put] into new wineskins.' |

How he went-into the house of the God upon [the time of] Evyatar (meaning father of abundance) [the] chief-priest, and ate the breads of the setting-forth, which it is not permitted to eat except [for] the priests, and gave also to the [ones] being with him?' |
| 27. και ελεγεν αυτοιϲ το ϲαββατον δια τον ανον εγενετο και ουχ ο ανθρωποϲ δια το ϲαββατον | 27. And he was saying to them, 'The Shabbat came to be because of the human, and not the human because of the Shabbat. |

| 31. και λεγει αυτοιϲ δευτε ϋμιϲ αυτοι κατ ϊδιαν ειϲ ερημο τοπον και αναπαυεϲθαι ολιγον ηϲαν γαρ οι ερχομενοι και οι ϋπαγοντεϲ πολλοι και ουδε φαγειν ευκαιρουν | 31. And he says to them, 'Come you yourselves privately into [a] desolate place and rest a little.' For there were many coming and withdrawing and they had no opportunity not-even to eat. |

| 13. και αφιϲ αυτουϲ παλιν εμβαϲ απηλθε ειϲ το περαν | 13. And having-sent-away / released them, again having-stepped-in [the boat], he went-away into the other-side. |
| 14. και επελαθοντο λαβειν αρτουϲ· και ει μη ενα αρτον ουκ ειχον μεθ εαυτω εν τω πλοιω: | 14. And they forgot to take breads; and except one bread they did not have with themselves [any bread] in the boat. |

| 13. και εϲεϲθε μιϲουμενοι υπο πατων δια το ονομα μου ο δε ϋπομιναϲ ειϲ τελοϲ ουτοϲ ϲωθηϲεται | 13. And you will be hated by all because-of my name; but the [one] having-remained-under (enduring the weight of the load) until [the] end-goal, this [one] will be made safe. |
| 14. οταν δε ϊδητε το βδελυγμα τηϲ ερημωϲεωϲ εϲτηκοτα οπου ου δι· ο αναγινωϲκων νοειτω: τοτε οι εν τη ϊουδαια φευγετωϲαν ειϲ τα ορη· | 14. But whenever you might see the detestible-filthy-thing of the desolation standing where it is not binding (by covenant-law) — let the [one] reading perceive — then let the [ones] in Yehudah [Judea] flee into the mountains. |

| 51. και νεανιϲκοϲ τιϲ. ϲυνηκολουθει αυτω περιβεβλημενοϲ ϲινδονα επι γυμνου· και κρατουϲιν αυτον: | 51. And a certain young-man was following-together-with him, having-been-thrown-around [with] a linen-cloth upon naked [skin]; and they grasp-firmly him. [Note: A Sadin was not a standard daily garment like a tunic (Chiton). It was a rectangular sheet of high-quality, fine linen. The fact that it was "around-cast" (peri-ballō) suggests a sudden, physical movement. This young man did not "dress"; he grabbed the closest piece of fabric and threw it over his bare body. He was likely physically asleep in a nearby house or estate (perhaps the property owner's son) and was physically startled by the noise of the "crowd" with their "swords abd clubs." He ran out to see what was happening with nothing but his bedsheet.] |
| 52. ο δε καταλιπων τη ϲινδονα γυμνοϲ εφυγεν· | 52. But he, having-left-behind the linen-cloth, fled naked. |
