1. αρχη του ευαγγελιου ιυ χυ 1. [The] beginning of the good-message of Jesus Anointed.
2. καθωϲ γεγραπται εν τω ηϲαϊα τω προφητη ϊδου εγω αποϲτελω τον αγγελον μου προ προϲωπου ϲου οϲ καταϲκευαϲει την οδον ϲου 2. Just as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: Look, I send-off my messenger before your face, who will prepare your way.
3. φωνη βοωντοϲ ε τη ερημω ετοιμαϲατε την οδον κυ ευθιαϲ ποιειτε ταϲ τριβουϲ αυτου 3. [A] voice of [one] shouting in the desolate [place]: Prepare the way of [the] master, make his paths straight.
4. και εγενετο ϊωαννηϲ ο βαπτιζων εν τη ερημω και κηρυϲϲων βαπτιϲμα μετανοιαϲ ειϲ αφεϲι αμαρτιων 4. And John the [one] dipping came-to-be in the desolate [place] and proclaiming [a] dipping of change of mind resulting-in the sending-away / release of mistakes.
5. και εξεπορευετο προϲ αυτον παϲα η ϊουδαια χωρα και οι ϊεροϲολυμειτε παντεϲ εβαπτιζοτο ϋπ αυτου εν τω ϊορδανη ποταμω εξομολογουμενοι ταϲ αμαρτιαϲ αυτω 5. And all the Judean region and all the Jerusalemites were going-out to him, and they were being dipped by him in the Jordan river, acknowledging-openly (admitting) their mistakes.
6. και ην ο ϊωαννηϲ ενδεδυμενοϲ τριχαϲ καμηλου και ζωνην δερματινην περι την οϲφυν αυτου και εϲθων ακριδαϲ και μελι αγριον 6. And John was clothed-in camel’s hair and [a] leather belt around his loins (waist/hip), and [was] eating locusts and wild honey.
7. και εκηρυϲϲεν λεγων ερχεται ο ϊϲχυροτεροϲ μου οπιϲω μου ου ουκ ειμι ικανοϲ κυψαϲ λυϲαι τον ϊμαντα των ϋποδηματων αυτου 7. And he was proclaiming, saying: The [one] stronger [than] me comes after me, of whom I am not adequate having-bent-down to loose the strap of his sandals.
8. εγω εβαπτιϲα ϋμαϲ ϋδατι αυτοϲ δε βαπτιϲει εν πνι αγιω 8. I dipped you in water, but he will dip [you] in [the] set-apart spirit / breath.
9. και εγενετο εν εκειναιϲ ταιϲ ημεραιϲ ηλθεν ιϲ απο ναζαρετʼ τηϲ γαλιλαιαϲ και εβαπτιϲθη ειϲ τον ϊορδανην ϋπο ϊωαννου 9. And it came-to-be in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee and was dipped into the Jordan by John.
10. και ευθυϲ αναβενων εκ του ϋδατοϲ ειδεν ϲχιζομενουϲ τουϲ ουνουϲ και το πνα ωϲ περιϲτεραν καταβαινον και μενον επ αυτον 10. And immediately [while] coming-up out of the water, he saw the heavens being-split and the breath / pneuma (spirit) as [a] dove coming-down and remaining upon him.
11. και φωνη εκ τω ουνων ϲυ ει ο υϲ μου ο αγαπητοϲ εν ϲοι ευδοκηϲα· 11. And [a] voice [came] out of the heavens: You are my beloved son; in you I thought-well.
12. και ευθυϲ το πνα αυτον εκβαλλει ειϲ την ερημον 12. And immediately the breath / pneuma (spirit) throws-out / ejects him into the desolate [place].
13. και ην εν τη ερημω· μ· ημεραϲ πιραζομενοϲ ϋπο του ϲαζϛτανα και ην μετα των θηριων και οι αγγελοι διηκονου αυτω 13. And he was in the desolate [place] forty days being tested by Satan, and he was with the wild-beasts, and the messengers were serving (attending-to) him.
14. μετα δε το παραδοθηναι τον ϊωαννην ηλθεν ο ιϲ ειϲ την γαλιλαιαν κηθϛρυϲϲων το ευαγγελιον του θυ 14. And after John was given-over, Jesus came into Galilee proclaiming the good-message of the God.
15. οτι πεπληρωται ο καιροϲ και ηγγεικεν η βαϲιλια του θυ μετανοειτε και πιϲτευεται εν τω ευαγγελιω 15. [Saying] that the time has been fulfilled and the kingship of the God has drawn-near; change your mind and believe in the good-message.
16. και παραγων παρα την θαλαϲϲαν τηϲ γαλιλαιαϲ ειδεν ϲιμωνα και ανδρεαν τον αδελφον ϲιμωνοϲ αμφιβαλλονταϲ εν τη θαλαϲϲη ηϲα γαρ αλιειϲ 16. And [while] passing-by beside the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew the brother of Simon casting-nets in the sea, for they were fishermen.
17. και ειπε αυτοιϲ ο ιϲ δευτε οπιϲω μου και ποιηϲω ϋμαϲ γενεϲθε αλεειϲ ανων 17. And Jesus said to them: Come after me, and I will make you to become fishermen of humans.
18. και ευθυϲ αφεντεϲ τα δικτυα ηκολουθηϲαν αυτω 18. And immediately, having-sent-away / released the nets, they followed him.
19. και προβαϲ εκειθε ϊδεν ϊακωβον το του ζεβεδεου και ϊωαννην τον αδελφον αυτου και αυτουϲ εν τω πλοιω καταρτιζονταϲ τα δικτυα 19. And having-advanced from-there, he saw James the [son] of Zebedee and John his brother, and they [were] in the boat adjusting the nets.

22. και εξεπληϲϲοντο επι τη διδαχη αυτου ην γαρ διδαϲκων αυτουϲ ωϲ εξουϲιαν εχω και ουχ ωϲ οι γραμιδηματειϲ: 22. And they were struck-out (amazed) at his teaching, for he was teaching them as [one] having permission-power (authority) and not as the writer-scholars.
23. και ευθυϲ ην εν τη ϲυναγωγη αυτων ανοϲ ε πνι ακαθαρτω κ(αι) ανεκραξεν 23. And immediately there was in their gathering-together (synagogue / assembly) a human in unclean breath / pneuma (spirit), and he cried-out.
24. λεγω τι ημιν και ϲοι ιυ ναζαρηνε ηλθεϲ απολεϲε ημαϲ οιδαμεν ϲε τιϲ ει ο αγιοϲ του θυ 24. Saying: What [is it] to us and to you, Jesus Nazarene? Did you come to destroy / ruin us? We know who you are, the set-apart [one] of the God.
25. και επετιμηϲεν αυτω ο ιϲ φιμωθητι κ(αι) εξελθε εξ αυτου 25. And Jesus levied-penalty-upon him: Be silenced, and go-out out of him.
26. και ϲπαραξαν αυτο το πνα το ακαθαρτο και φωνηϲαν φωνη μεγαλη εξηλθεν εξ αυτου 26. And the unclean breath / pneuma (spirit), having-convulsed him and having-voiced [with a] great voice, went-out of him.
27. και εθαμβηθηϲαν απαντεϲ ωϲτε ϲυζητιν αυτουϲ λεγοταϲ τι εϲτιν τουτο διδαχη καινη κατ εξουϲιαν και τοιϲ πναϲι τοιϲ ακαθαρτοιϲ επιταϲϲι και ϋπακουουϲιν αυτω 27. And they were all astounded, so-as to discuss [among] themselves, saying: What is this? A new teaching according to permission-power (authority)! Even the unclean breaths / pneumas (spirits) he commands, and they obey him.
28. και εξηλθεν η ακοη αυτου ειϲ ολην τη περιχωρον τηϲ ϊιεβουδαιαϲ: 28. And the hearing [of] him went-out into all the surrounding-region of Judea.
29. και ευθυϲ εκ τηϲ ϲυναγωγηϲ εξελθοντεϲ ηλθο ειϲ την οικιαν ϲιμωνοϲ και ανδρεου μετα ϊακωβου και ϊωαννου 29. And immediately, going-out out of the gathering-together (synagogue / assembly), they came into the house of Simon and Andrew with James and John.
30. η δε πενθερα ϲιμωνοϲ κατεκειτο πυρεϲϲουϲα και ευθυϲ λεγουϲιν αυτω περι αυτηϲ 30. Now the mother-in-law of Simon was-lying-down fevering, and immediately they say to him concerning her.
31. και προϲελθων ηγειρεν αυτην κρατηϲαϲ τηϲ χιροϲ και αφηκεν αυτην ο πυρετοϲ και διηκονει αυτοιϲ 31. And having-come-to [her], he raised / woke her, having-grasped-firmly the hand; and the fever sent-away / released her, and she was serving (attending-to) them.
32. οψιαϲ δε γενομενηϲ οτε εδυ ο ηλιοϲ εφερον προϲ αυτον πανταϲ τουϲ κακωϲ εχονταϲ 32. Now evening having-come-to-be, when the sun set, they were bearing to him all the [ones] having badly.

34. και δαιμονια πολλα εξεβαλλεν και ουκ ηφιε λαλιν τα δαιμονια οτι ηδιϲαν αυτον 34. And he threw-out / ejected many little daemons, and did not send-away / release the little daemons to speak, because they knew him.
35. και πρωϊ εννυχα λειαν αναϲταϲ ε218ξηλθεν και απηλθεν ειϲ ερημον τοπον κακι προϲηϋχετο 35. And early, very much in-night, having-stood-up, he went-out and went-away into a desolate place, and there was praying.
36. και κατεδιωξεν αυτον ϲιμω και οι μετ αυτου 36. And Simon and the [ones] with him pursued / chased-down him.
37. και ευρον αυτον και λεγουϲιν αυτω οτι παντεϲ ζητουϲιν ϲε 37. And they found him and say to him that: All seek you.
38. και λεγει αυτοιϲ αγομεν αλλαχου ειϲ ταϲ εχομεναϲ κωμοπολιϲ ϊνα κακει κηρυξω ειϲ τουτο γαρ εξηλθο 38. And he says to them: Let us lead elsewhere into the neighboring village-cities, in-order-that I might proclaim there also; for into this I went-out.
39. και ηλθεν κηρυϲϲι ειϲ ταϲ ϲυναγωγαϲ αυτων ειϲ ολην την γαλιλαιαν και τα δαιμονια εκβαλλων 39. And he came proclaiming in their gatherings-together (synagogues / assemblies) in all Galilee and throwing-out / ejecting the little daemons.
40. και ερχεται προϲ αυτον λεπροϲ παρακαλων αυτον και γονυπετων λεγων αυτω οτι εαν θεληϲ δυναϲε με καθαριϲαι 40. And a leper comes to him, calling-alongside (begging urgently) him and falling-on-knees, saying to him that: If you might will, you are able to cleanse me.
41. και ϲπλαγχνιϲθειϲ εκτιναϲ την χειρα αυτου ηψατο κ(αι) λεγει θελω καθαριϲθητι 41. And moved-in-the-viscera (gut reaction), having-stretched-out his hand, he touched [him] and says: I will [it], be cleansed.
42. και ευθυϲ απηλθεν απ αυτου η λεπρα και εκαθαριϲθη 42. And immediately the leprosy went-away from him, and he was cleansed.
43. και εμβριμηϲαμενοϲ αυτω ευθυϲ εξεβαλε αυτον 43. And having-snorted (expressed indignation) at him, immediately he threw-out / ejected him.
44. και λεγει αυτω ορα μηδενι ειπηϲ αλλα ϋπαγε ϲαυτον διξο τω ιερει και προϲενεγκε περι του καθαριϲμου ϲου α προϲεταξεν μωυϲηϲ ειϲ μαρτυριο αυτοιϲ 44. And he says to him: See [that] you say [to] no one; but withdraw, show yourself to the priest and offer concerning your cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

1. και ειϲελθων παλι ειϲ καφαρναουμ δι ημερων ηκουϲθη οτι εν οικω εϲτιν 1. And having-gone-into Capernaum again after days, it was heard that he is in [the] house.
2. και ϲυνηχθηϲαν πολλοι ωϲτε μηκετι χωριν μηδε τα προϲ την θυραν και ελαλει αυτοιϲ τον λογον 2. And many were gathered-together, so-as no-longer to have-space, not-even the [parts] toward the door, and he was speaking the word to them.
3. και ερχονται φεροτεϲ προϲ αυτον παραλυτικον αιρομενον ϋπο· δ· 3. And they come bearing toward him [a] paralyzed-person being lifted by four.
4. και μη δυναμενοι προϲενεγκαι αυτω δια τον οχλον απεϲτεγαϲαν την ϲτεγην οπου ην και εξορυξαντεϲ χαλωϲι τον κραβακτο οπου ο παραλυτικοϲ κατεκειτο 4. And not being able to bring [him] to him because of the crowd, they un-roofed the roof where he was, and having-dug-[it]-out, they lower the cot where the paralyzed-person was lying-down.
5. και ϊδων ο ιϲ την πιϲτιν αυτων λεγει τω παραλυτικω τεκνον μου αφεωνται ϲου αι αμαρτιαι 5. And Jesus having-seen their trust, says to the paralyzed-person: My child, your mistakes have been sent-away / released.
6. ηϲαν δε τινεϲ των γραμματεω εκει καθημενοι και διαλογιζομενοι εν ταιϲ καρδιεϲ αυτων 6. But some of the writer-scholars were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts.
7. τι ουτοϲ ουτωϲ λαλει βλαϲφημει τιϲ δυναται αφιεναι αμαρτιαϲ ει μη ειϲ ο θϲ 7. Why does this [one] speak thus? He speaks-harm-against (blasphemes). Who is able to send-away / release mistakes except one, the God?
8. και ευθυϲ ο ιϲ επιγνουϲ τω πνι αυτου οτι ουτωϲ διαλογιζονται εν εαυτοιϲ λεγει αυτοιϲ τι ταυτα διαλογιζεϲθε εν ταιϲ καρδιεϲ υμων 8. And immediately Jesus, having-recognized in his breath / pneuma (spirit) that they reason thus within themselves, says to them: Why do you reason these things in your hearts?
9. τι εϲτι ευκοπωτερον ειπειν τω παραλυτικω αφιενται ϲου αι αμαρτιαι η ειπειν εγειρε και αρον τον κραβακτον ϲου και ϋπαγε 9. What is easier, to say to the paralyzed-person: Your mistakes are sent-away / released, or to say: Raise and lift your cot and withdraw?
10. ϊνα δε ειδητε οτι εξουϲιαν εχι ο υϲ του ανου επι τηϲ γηϲ αφιεναι αμαρτιαϲ λεγει τω παραλυτικω 10. But in order that you might know that the son of the human has permission-power (authority) upon the land to send-away / release mistakes—he says to the paralytic:
11. εγειρε ϲοι λεγω αρον τον κραβακτον ϲου και ϋπαγε ειϲ τον οικο ϲου 11. Raise, I say to you, lift your cot and withdraw into your house.

And having-heard, Jesus says to them: The [ones] being strong have no need of [a] physician, but the [ones] having badly; I did not come to call just [ones], but mistake-prone-persons.

And Jesus said to them: Are the sons of the bride-chamber able to fast while the bridegroom is with them? As much time [as] they have the bridegroom with them, they are not able to fast.
20. ελευϲονται δε ημεραι οταν απαρθη απ αυτων ο νυμφιοϲ και τοτε νηϲτευϲουϲιν εν εκεινη τη ημερα 20. But days will come whenever the bridegroom might be lifted-away from them, and then they will fast in that day.
21. ουδιϲ επιβλημα ρακουϲ αγναφου επιραπτι επι ϊματιον παλαιον ει δε μη· αιρει πληρωμα απ αυτου το καινον του παλαιου και χειρον ϲχιϲμα γεινεται 21. No one sews-on [a] patch-on of un-carded cloth upon [an] old garment; otherwise the new fullness lifts-away from the old, and [a] worse split comes-to-be.
22. και ουδειϲ βαλλει οινον νεον ειϲ αϲκουϲ παλαιουϲ· ει δε μη ρηξει ο οινοϲ τουϲ αϲκουϲ και ο οινοϲ εκχειται και οι αϲκοι απολουνται· αλλα οινον νεον ειϲ αϲκουϲ καινουϲ 22. And no one throws new wine into old wineskins; otherwise the wine will burst the wineskins, and the wine pours-out and the wineskins will be destroyed / ruined; but new wine [is to be thrown] into new wineskins.
23. και εγενετο αυτο εν τοιϲ ϲαββαϲιν παραπορευεϲθε δια των ϲποριμω και οι μαθηται αυτου ηρξαντο οδο ποιειν τιλλοντεϲ τουϲ ϲταχυαϲ 23. And it came-to-be [that] he passed-by through the sown-fields in the Sabbaths, and his disciples began to make way plucking the heads-of-grain.
24. και οι φαριϲαιοι ελεγον αυτω ϊδε τι ποιουϲιν τοιϲ ϲαββαϲιν· ο ουκ εξεϲτι 24. And the Pharisees (whose name means separated-ones) were saying to him: Look, why do they do on the Sabbaths what is not permitted?
25. και λεγει αυτοιϲ ουδεποτε ανεγνωτε τι εποιηϲεν δαδ· οτε χριαν εϲχεν και επιναϲεν αυτοϲ και οι μετ αυτου 25. And he says to them: Did you never read what David did when he had need and hungered, he and the [ones] with him?

1. και ειϲηλθεν παλιν ειϲ ϲυναγωγην και ην εκει ανοϲ εξηραμμενην εχων την χειρα 1. And he went-into again [a] gathering-together (synagogue / assembly), and [a] human was there having the hand dried-up (withered).
2. και παρετηρουν αυτον ει εν τοιϲ ϲαββαϲι θεραπευει αυτον ϊνα κατηγορηϲωϲιν αυτου 2. And they were watching him closely if he heals him on the Sabbaths, in-order-that they might accuse him.
3. και λεγει τω ανω τω την ξηραν χιρα εχοντι εγειρε ειϲ το μεϲον 3. And he says to the human having the dry (withered) hand: Raise into the middle.
4. και λεγει αυτοιϲ εξεϲτιν τοιϲ ϲαββαϲιν αγαθον ποιηϲαι· η κακοποιηϲαι· ψυχην ϲωϲαι η αποκτιναι οι δε εϲιωπων ˙ 4. And he says to them: Is it permitted on the Sabbaths to do good or to do-bad? To deliver / make-whole breath-life (psychē) or to kill? But they were being silent.

And having-gone-out, the separated-ones (religious sect: Pharisees) immediately did counsel-together (plot) with the Herodians (political faction) against him, how they might destroy / ruin him.
7. και ο ιϲ μετα των μαθητων αυτου ανεχωρηϲεν προϲ την θαλαϲϲαν: και πολυ πληθοϲ απο τηϲ γαλιλαιαϲ και απο τηϲ ϊουδαιαϲ ηκολουθηϲαν 7. And Jesus with his disciples withdrew toward the sea; and a great multitude from Galilee and from Judea followed.
8. κ(αι) απο ϊεροϲολυμω και περαν του ϊορδανου περι τυρον και ϲιδωνα πληθοϲ πολυ ακουοντεϲ οϲα εποιει ηλθον προϲ αυτον 8. And from Jerusalem and beyond the Jordan [and] around Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, hearing as many things as he was doing, came to him.

14. και οι βοϲκοντεϲ αυτουϲ· εφυγον και απηγγιλον ειϲ την πολιν και ειϲ τουϲ αγρουϲ και εξηλθο ιδειν τι εϲτιν το γεγονοϲ 14. And the [ones] feeding them fled and reported [it] into the city and into the fields; and they went-out to see what is the [thing] having-happened.
15. και ηρχοντο προϲ τον ιν και θεωρουϲι τον δαιμονιζομενον καθημενον ϊματιϲμενο και ϲωφρονουντα τον εϲχηκοτα τον λεγιωνα και εφοβηθηϲαν 15. And they were coming to Jesus and behold the [one] being-little-daemon-possessed sitting clothed and being-sound-minded, the [one] having-had the Legion; and they feared.
16. και διηγηϲαντο αυτοιϲ οι ϊδοντεϲ πωϲ εγενετο τω δαιμονιζομενω και περι των χοιρων· 16. And the [ones] having-seen narrated to them how it came-to-be to the [one] being-little-daemon-possessed, and concerning the pigs (swine).
17. και ηρξαντο παρακαλιν αυτο απελθιν απο τω οριων αυτων 17. And they began to call-alongside (beg urgently) him to go-away from their boundaries.
18. και εμβαινοντοϲ αυτου ειϲ το πλοιο παρεκαλει αυτο ο δαιμονιϲθειϲ ϊνα μετ αυτου η: 18. And [upon] his stepping-in the boat, the [one] having-been-little-daemon-possessed was calling-alongside (begging urgently) him in-order-that he might be with him.
19. και ουκ αφηκεν αυτον αλλα λεγει αυτω ϋπαγε ειϲ το οικον ϲου προϲ τουϲ ϲουϲ και απαγγειλον αυτοιϲ οϲα ο κϲ πεποιηκεν ϲοι κ(αι) ηλεηϲεν ϲε 19. And he did not send-away / release him, but says to him: Withdraw into your house to your [own], and report to them as many things as the Master has done for you and mercied you.
20. και απηλθεν και ηρξατο κηρυϲϲει εν τη δεκαπολι οϲα εποιηϲεν αυτω ο ιϲ και παντεϲ εθαυμαζον 20. And he went-away and began to proclaim in the Decapolis as many things as Jesus done for him, and all were marveling.
21. και διαπεραϲαντοϲ του ιυ εν τω πλοιω ειϲ το περα παλιν ϲυνηχθη οχλοϲ πολυϲ επ αυτο και ην παρα την θαλαϲϲαν 21. And Jesus having-crossed-through in the boat into the beyond, again [a] great crowd was gathered-together upon him; and he was beside the sea.
22. και ερχεται ειϲ τω αρχϊϲυναγωγων ονοματι ϊαϊροϲ κ(αι) ϊδων αυτον πιπτι προϲ τουϲ ποδαϲ αυτου 22. And one of the rulers-of-the-gathering-together comes, by name Jairus; and having-seen him, he falls toward his feet.
23. και παρακαλει αυτον πολλα λεγω οτι το θυγατριον μου εϲχατωϲ εχει ϊνα ελθων επιθηϲ ταϲ χιραϲ αυτη ϊνα ϲωθη και ζηϲη 23. And he calls-alongside (begs urgently) him much, saying that: My little-daughter is at-the-last; in-order-that having-come you might put-upon the hands to her, in-order-that she might be delivered / made-whole and might live.
24. και απηλθεν μετ αυτου και ηκολουθι αυτω οχλοϲ πολυϲ και ϲυνεθλιβον αυτον 24. And he went-away with him; and a great crowd was following him and pressing-together him.
25. και γυνη ουϲα εν ρυϲει αιματοϲ δωδεκα ετη 25. And [a] woman being in [a] flow of blood twelve years.
26. και πολλα παθουϲα ϋπο πολλων ϊατρων και δαπανηϲαϲα τα παρ εαυτηϲ πατα και μηδεν ωφεληθιϲα αλλα μαλλον ειϲ το χειρο ελθουϲα 26. And having-suffered many things under many physicians, and having-spent all the things from herself, and having-benefited nothing, but rather having-come into the worse.
27. ακουϲαϲα τα περι του ιυ ελθουϲα εν τω οχλω οπιθεν ηψατο του ϊματιου αυτου 27. Having-heard the things concerning Jesus, having-come in the crowd from-behind, she touched his garment.
28. ελεγεν γαρ οτι εαν αψωμαι καν του ϊματιου αυτου ϲωθηϲομαι 28. For she was saying that: If I might touch even-if his garment, I will be delivered / made-whole.
29. και ευθυϲ εξηρανθη η πηγη του αιματοϲ αυτηϲ και εγνω τω ϲωματι οτι ϊαται απο τηϲ μαϲτιγοϲ 29. And immediately the spring of her blood was dried-up, and she knew in the body that she has been healed from the whip-stroke (painful affliction).
30. και ευθυϲ ο ιϲ επιγνουϲ εν εαυτω την εξ αυτου δυναμιν εξελθουϲαν επιϲτραφειϲ εν τω οχλω ελεγε τιϲ μου ηψατο τω ϊματιων ˙ 30. And immediately Jesus, having-recognized in himself the power having-gone-out of him, having-turned-back in the crowd, was saying: Who touched my garments?
31. και ελεγον αυτω οι μαθηται αυτου βλεπειϲ τον οχλο ϲυνθλιβοντα ϲε και λεγιϲ τιϲ μου ηψατο 31. And his disciples were saying to him: You look [at] the crowd pressing-together you, and you say: Who touched me?
32. και περιεβλεπετο ϊδειν την τουτο ποιηϲαϲαν 32. And he was looking-around to see the [one] having-done this.
33. η δε γυνη φοβηθιϲα και τρεμουϲα και ϊδυϊα ο γεγονεν αυτη ηλθεν και προϲεπεϲεν αυτω και ειπεν αυτω παϲαν την αληθιαν 33. But the woman, having-feared and trembling, and knowing what has happened to her, came and fell-toward him and said to him all the truth.
34. ο δε ειπεν αυτη θυγατερʼ η πιϲτιϲ ϲου ϲεϲωκεν ϲε ϋπαγε ειϲ ϊρηνην και ϊϲθι ϋγιηϲ απο τηϲ μαϲτιγοϲ ϲου 34. And he said to her: Daughter, your trust / confidence has delivered / made-whole you; withdraw into peace, and be healthy from your whip-stroke (painful affliction).

37. και ουκ αφηκεν ουδενα μετ αυτου ϲυνακολουθηϲαι ει μη τον πετρον και ϊακωβον και ϊωαννην τον αδελφον ϊακωβου 37. And he did not send-away / release no one to follow-together with him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.
38. και ερχονται ειϲ το οικον του αρχϊϲυναγωγου και θεωρει θορυβον και κλαιονταϲ και αλαλαζονταϲ πολλα· 38. And they come into the house of the ruler-of-the-gathering-together, and he beholds uproar and [people] weeping and wailing much.
39. και ειϲελθων λεγει αυτοιϲ τι θορυβειϲθε και κλαιετε το παιδιον ουκ απεθανεν αλλα καθευδι· 39. And having-gone-into, he says to them: Why do you make-uproar and weep? The little-child did not die, but sleeps.

2. και γενομενου ϲαββατου ηρξατο διδαϲκειν εν τη ϲυναγωγη και πολλοι ακουοντεϲ εξεπληϲϲοντο λεγοντεϲ ποθεν τουτω ταυτα παντα και τιϲ η ϲοφια η δοθιϲα τουτω και αι δυναμιϲ τοιαυται δια τω χειρων αυτου γινομεναι 2. 36. απολυϲον αυτουϲ ϊνα απελθοντεϲ ειϲ τουϲ κυκλω αγρουϲ και κωμαϲ αγοραϲωϲιν εαυτοιϲ βρωματα τι φαγωϲιν 36. Send-away / Release them, in-order-that having-gone-away into the surrounding fields and villages they might buy for themselves [things] to eat.

But answering he said to them: Give [to] them to eat. And they say to him: Having-gone-away might we buy loaves of two-hundred denarii and give [to] them to eat?
38. ο δε λεγει αυτοιϲ ποϲουϲ αρτουϲ εχετε ϋπαγετε ϊδετε και ελθοντεϲ λεγουϲιν πεντε· και δυο ιχθυαϲ 38. But he says to them: How-many loaves do you have? Withdraw, see. And having-come, they say: Five, and two fish.
39. και επεταξεν αυτοιϲ ανακλιθηναι πανταϲ ϲυμποϲια ϲυμποϲια επι τω χλωρω χορτω 39. And he commanded them to recline all group-by-group upon the green grass.

And having-seen them being tormented in the driving [rowing]—for the wind was contrary to them—about [the] fourth watch of the night he comes toward them walking-around upon the sea, and was willing to pass-by them.
49. οι δε ϊδοντεϲ αυτον επι τηϲ θαλαϲϲηϲ περιπατουντα εδοξαν οτι φαταϲμα εϲτιν· και ανεκραξαν 49. But the [ones] having-seen him walking-around upon the sea thought [it] is [a] phantasm [ghost], and cried-out.

And having-called-to-himself the crowd with his disciples, he said to them: If anyone wills to come after me, let him deny himself and lift his stake (pole) and follow me.

Teacher, Moses wrote to us that if [a] brother of someone might die and might leave-behind [a] wife and might not leave children, in-order-that his brother might take the wife and stand-up seed to his brother.
20. · ζ· αδελφοι ηϲαν και ὁ ειϲ ελαβεν γυναικα και αποθνηϲκων ουκ αφηκε ϲπερμα· 20. Seven brothers were [there]; and the first took [a] wife, and dying did not leave seed.
21. και ο δευτεροϲ ελαβεν αυτην και απεθανε μη καταλιπων ϲπερμα· και ο τριτοϲ ωϲαυτωϲ 21. And the second took her and died not having-left-behind seed; and the third likewise.
22. και οι επτα ουκ αφηκεν ϲπερμα· εϲχατον παντων και η γυνη απεθανεν· 22. And the seven did not send-away / release (leave) seed. Last of all the woman also died.
23. εν τη αναϲταϲει τινοϲ αυτων εϲται γυνη· οι γαρ επτα εϲχον αυτην γυναικα 23. In the standing-up, of whom of them will she be wife? For the seven had her [as] wife.
24. εφη αυτοιϲ ο ιϲ ου δια τουτο πλαναϲθαι μη ειδοτεϲ ταϲ γραφαϲ μηδε την δυναμιν του θυ 24. Jesus said to them: Because-of this are you not led-astray, not knowing the writings nor the power of the God?
25. οταν γαρ εκ νεκρων αναϲτωϲι ουτε γαμιζονται αλλ ειϲιν ωϲ αγγελοι εν τοιϲ ουρανοιϲ· 25. For whenever they might stand-up out of dead [ones], neither do they marry nor are they given in marriage, but they are as messengers in the heavens.
26. περι δε των νεκρων οτι εγειροται ουκ ανεγνωται εν τη βιβλω μωϋϲεωϲ επι του βατου· πωϲ ειπεν αυτω ο θϲ λεγω εγω ὁ θϲ αβρααμ και ὁ θϲ ϊϲακʼ και ο θϲ ϊακωβ ˙ 26. But concerning the dead [ones], that they are raised / woken, did you not read in the book of Moses upon the bush, how the God said to him, saying: I [am] the God of Abraham and the God of Isaac and the God of Jacob?
27. ουκ εϲτιν ο θϲ νεκρων αλλα ζωντων· πολυ πλαναϲθε 27. The God is not of dead [ones], but of living [ones]; you are much led-astray.
28. και προϲελθων ειϲ των γραμματεων ακουϲαϲ αυτω ϲυνζητουντων ιδων οτι καλωϲ απεκριθη αυτοιϲ επηρωτηϲεν αυτον ποια εϲτιν ετολη πρωτη παντων ˙ 28. And one of the writer-scholars having-come-to [him], having-heard them discussing-together, having-seen that he answered them well, asked him: Which is [the] first commandment of all?
29. απεκριθη ο ιϲ οτι πρωτη εϲτι· ακουε ιηλ· κϲ ο θϲ ημων κϲ ειϲ εϲτι· 29. Jesus answered that first is: Hear, Israel, Lord / Master our God is one Lord / Master;

32. και ειπεν αυτω ο γραμματευϲ καλωϲ διδαϲκαλε επ αληθιαϲ ειπεϲ· οτι ειϲ εϲτιν και ουκ εϲτι αλλοϲ πλην αυτου· 32. And the writer-scholar said to him: Well, Teacher, upon truth you said that He is one, and there is not another except Him.

35. και αποκριθειϲ ο ιϲ ελεγεν διδαϲκω εν τω ϊερω πωϲ λεγουϲιν οι γραμματιϲ οτι ο χϲ ϋϊοϲ δαδ εϲτιν 35. And answering Jesus was saying, teaching in the temple: How do the writer-scholars say that the Anointed is son of David?

But from the fig-tree learn the casting-beside (comparison / parabolē): Whenever already its branch might become tender and the leaves might grow-out, you know that the summer is near.

2. ελεγον γαρ μη εν τη εορτη μηποτε εϲται θορνηαρυβοϲ του λαου: 2. For they were saying: Not in the feast, lest-ever there will be [an] uproar of the people.

16. και εξηλθον οι μαθηται ειϲ την πολιν και ευρον καθωϲ ειπεν αυτοιϲ· και ητοιμαϲαν το παϲχα· 16. And the disciples went-out into the city and found just-as he said to them; and they prepared the Passover.
17. και οψιαϲ γενομενουϲ ερχεται μετα των δωδεκα: 17. And evening having-come-to-be, he comes with the twelve.
18. και ανακειμενω αυτων και εϲθιοντων ο ιϲ ειπεν αμην λεγω ϋμι οτι ειϲ εξ υμων παραδωϲει με ο εϲθιων μετ εμου· 18. And [upon] their lying-down (reclining) and eating , Jesus said: Amen I say to you that one out of you will give me over, the [one] eating with me.

58. οτι ειπεν οτι εγω καταλυ>ϲω τον ναον τουτον τον χειροποιητον· και δια τριω ημερων αλλον αχειροποιητον οικοδομηϲω· 58. That he said that: I will destroy-down this sanctuary the hand-made, and through three days I will build another not-hand-made.

31. ομοιωϲ και οι αρ>χϊερειϲ εμπαιζοτεϲ προϲ αλληλουϲ μετα των γραμματεων ελεγον· αλλουϲ εϲωϲεν εαυτον ου δυναται ϲωϲαι· 31. Likewise also the high-priests mocking toward one-another with the writer-scholars were saying: Others he delivered / made-whole; himself he is not able to deliver / make-whole.
32. ο χϲ ο βαϲιλευϲ ϊϲραηλ· καταβατω νυν απο του ϲταυρου· ϊνα ϊδωμεν και πιϲτευϲωμεν· και οι ϲυνεϲταυρωμενοι ϲυν αυτω ωνειδιζον αυτον· 32. The Anointed, the King (Ruler) of Israel, let him come-down now from the stake, in-order-that we might see and might trust. And the [ones] having-been-staked-together with him were reproaching him.
33. και γενομενηϲ ωραϲ εκτηϲ ϲκοτοϲ εγενετο εφ ολην > την γην εωϲ ωραϲ ενατηϲ 33. And sixth hour having-come-to-be, darkness came-to-be upon whole the land until ninth hour.

And someone having-run and having-filled [a] sponge of vinegar, having-put-[it]-around [a] reed, was giving-drink [to] him, saying: Send-away / Release; let us see if Elijah comes to take-down him.

1. η δε μαρια η μαγδαληνη και μαρια η ϊακωβου· και ϲαλωμη ηγοραϲαν αρωματα ϊνα ελθου>ϲαι αλιψωϲιν αυτον: 1. And Mary the Magdalene and Mary the [mother] of James and Salome bought spices, in-order-that having-come they might anoint him.
2. και λιαν πρωϊ· τη μια των ϲαββατω ερχονται επι το > μνημα ανατιλατοϲ του ηλιου ˙ 2. And very early, on the one [first] of the Sabbaths, they come upon the memorial-place (tomb), the sun having-risen.
3. και ελεγον προϲ > εαυταϲ τιϲ αποκυλιϲει ημιν τον > λιθον εκ τηϲ θυ>ραϲ του μνημειου ˙ 3. And they were saying toward themselves: Who will roll-away for us the stone out of the door of the memorial-place (tomb)?
